What Makes A Creative Agency So Creative?


What makes a creative agency so creative...sounds like a dumb question, right?

Well, yes, it does, but I'll explain what I mean.

This is an opinion blog from the point of view of someone who has been working for a creative agency for almost eight months now.

When you say creative agency, most people don't actually understand what that entails.

They assume "oh so you make logos and stuff?"

Yes...but we do so much more than that.

Most people when they hear the word creative automatically think art, paint, dance, theatre, museums, innovative or unconventional people groups, ect.

Which makes people's assumption of a creative agency being centered around logos and graphics make sense.

When it comes to the word creative, in the sense of a creative agency, it really refers to coming up with solutions.

Or at least that's the way we at The PHNX21creative Agency view it.

A creative solution - the process of finding a solution to a problem in a way that was not previously thought of.

This is where the creativity comes in.

It takes creative solutions to figure out how to get a client to their goals while staying ahead of their competition.

Even though logos, graphic designs, and eBooks may be things that creative agencies produce, they are not what make a creative agency creative.

It is their drive to find solutions that best fit each customer to take them from where they are in business to where they want to be.

The creativity comes from people whose goal and profession is to think strategically, but also outside of the box - to come up with novel ideas as to how they can help see a business grow and reach higher levels of success.

This is why I love working for a creative agency.

There is skill and science fused into what we do everyday, but at the heart of it all is that creative drive to be innovative and uniquely problem solving.
